Throttle Therapy Tuning®
Terms
These terms cover https://throttlet.com, a request for a tune, and anything you buy from the shop. Throttle Therapy Tuning® works out of Billings, Montana. The version on this page is the one that applies. Questions go to info@throttlet.com.
We can refuse the work
Sending a request is not a promise that we will take the car. Throttle Therapy Tuning has the right to refuse any work, on any vehicle, at any time. That includes after you send the form, after we look at the car, and after we have started if we decide the work should stop. We do not have to give a reason.
We cannot guarantee that your vehicle is tune worthy, or that it will be. We cannot guarantee that it will benefit from a tune. Some cars should be left alone. Some will not gain power, drivability, or fuel mileage. Some need other work before a tune makes any sense. If we take the job, we still do not promise a result.
Warranties
A vehicle tune will end most vehicle warranties. That includes most manufacturer warranties. It can also end warranties from a dealer, a builder, or the company that sold a part. We do not put a warranty back, and we do not promise that a dealer or a manufacturer will still cover the car, the engine, or the drivetrain.
We do not warrant the tune against engine damage, drivetrain damage, a failed inspection, or a car that does not feel faster. You accept that risk when you ask us to tune it.
What you tell us
You are responsible for what you tell us about the year, make, model, engine, parts, fuel, and what the vehicle is doing. A tune written from wrong information can damage the vehicle. That risk stays with you.
You are responsible for the condition of the vehicle. We can stop if it is not in a shape we are willing to work on. A tuned vehicle can drive differently than it did before. You are responsible for how it is driven after the work.
The law on the road
You are responsible for using the vehicle in line with federal, state, and local law, including emissions rules where you drive it. We do not promise that a tune is legal for public roads, that it will pass an inspection, or that emissions equipment stays in the state the factory left it.
Merchandise
Hoodies and other merch are sold through the shop on this site. The price is the price on the product page when you check out. Some items are made after you order. Read that product page before you buy.
Checkout is handled by our store. We do not keep your full card number on this website. If a product page states a return or exchange rule, that rule is the one that applies to that item. For anything the page does not cover, write info@throttlet.com before you assume it can come back.
Payment
A tune is not booked until we accept the vehicle. If we accept it, the price and what is included are what we tell you at that time. Merch is charged at checkout. We can decline the work before it starts.
Reviews
We read a review before it goes on the site. We can refuse to publish it, and we can take one down. Sending a review does not mean it will appear.
Our name
Throttle Therapy Tuning®, the logo, and “Hit the throttle, heal the soul®” belong to Throttle Therapy Tuning. Do not use them for your own shop or your own products.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Throttle Therapy Tuning is not liable for a lost warranty, a vehicle that does not benefit from a tune, lost use of the vehicle, or damage that follows from the condition of the vehicle or from information you gave us. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for a claim about one tune or one order is limited to the amount you paid us for that tune or that order.
Some limits do not apply where the law where you live does not allow them. Nothing on this page takes away a right the law says we cannot take away.
To the extent the law allows, you will cover us for a claim by someone else that comes from how the vehicle is used after a tune, from a warranty that ended, or from information you gave us that was not true.
Montana law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. We can update them by posting a new version on this page.
How we handle a name, a phone number, an email, and vehicle details is on the Privacy page.
